In 1978, BMW further expanded its range of boxer engines with the introduction of the R45 and R65, with the R65 initially having 45 hp and from 1980 on 50 hp. This lighter version than the 1000cc models is remarkably sporty in terms of power, very agile and almost maintenance-free due to the use of high-quality parts.
This R65 has been restored and completely rebuilt by us and Ace 13.
