The first 800cc model from BMW was the R80/7 produced in 1977. This was the replacement of the 750cc R75/7 and was, like its predecessor, powered by the well-known air-cooled boxer engine.
Although never produced by BMW itself, Greenib, the Dutch importer at the time, built an R80RS based on the R80/7 due to popular demand. A limited edition of which only 25 have been built.
This BMW R80RS was fully restored (also technically) 10,000 km ago. Just two previous owners. Includes Belgian papers and an extensive appraisal report.
