In the summer of 1984 JAWA introduced the 638, which was partly derived from its predecessor, the 634. In particular, the 2-stroke air-cooled engine was redeveloped. In addition, the 638 had an improved 4-speed gearbox with semi-automatic clutch, a new carburettor and alternator. In 1990 the 638 evolved into the 639 and was fitted with, among other things, a disc brake at the front and an improved crankshaft.
This original JAWA 639 has been fully checked by us and is in good condition.
